Cosmos is God!?

I spoke to the old sage about this tripe - that the cosmos is god - that we are god - that humanity is heading towards its own godhood by way of evolution!
Are you sure they mean 'godhood'? he asked me.
Of course. Why? What are you getting at?
He waved his arm as if to include the whole human race. Well, seems to me we're going downhill! Could they really mean we are heading towards 'devil-hood'?  he suggested.        Thankfully, they are wrong.

Proof for Catholicism

He often speaks of the Real Presence, does the old sage.
He likes the Scriptural reading of John 6:54, which states:
Believe me when I tell you this; you have no life in yourselves unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood.
Jesus said this,
sage points out, because 'the Jews fell to disputing with one another. How can this man give us his flesh to eat?' John 6:53.
The Catholic Church gives us His Flesh to eat and His Blood to drink, sage proclaims, pointing to the passage before him.

Therefore The Church gives us
this 'life'
that Jesus spoke about.

If that be the case, he concludes, then here we have a sure proof that The Catholic Church is the true Church of Christ.
Don't we?
I reckon so.

They Walk no More in His Company

Sage, referring to this saying of Jesus, made the further statement.
These modernists are the same as those 'disciples' of old, who 'went back to their old ways, and walked no more in his company'. John 6:67.
The modernists can not cope with the Real Presence, with the Flesh and Blood, the Soul, the Divinity, in the Blessed Sacrament, sage makes this judgmental point with sadness,  and so they 'walk no more in his company'.
A frightening thing - to lose His company.
